These are some of the best weeks to stay in Door County, especially if you prefer fewer crowds. The weather and lake waters are warm; most kids and parents are back in school. While weekends can still be busy, weekdays are significantly quieter, with little to no waiting, less traffic, and all local businesses are still open.

The village’s commercial district and public marina are just one block away—no car required unless you want one. Stroll to specialty shops, galleries, restaurants and pubs, coffee shops and bakeries, breweries and a distillery, the local library, the performing arts center, and a vibrant neighborhood grocery market.
Egg Harbor comes alive year-round with beloved community events, including two parades, a fall festival, evening concerts, a farmers’ market, and fireworks—all within walking distance. Egg Harbor Village Events
Outdoor Adventures Everywhere
Spend the day biking, walking, swimming, hiking, exploring, golfing, or running along nearby beaches, roads, trails, and courses. Boating, paddleboarding, and kayaking on the bay are just steps away.
Or slow things down—relax at the condo pool or watch sailboats glide by from your waterfront deck. When night falls, enjoy excellent stargazing overhead.
Stroll along iconic Whitecliff Road to see the dramatic cliffs of the Niagara Escarpment, which give the road its name.
This is an ideal home base for Door County 5ks, marathons, triathlons, Ironman events, fishing tournaments, and cycling events.
Boat-Friendly Location
Arriving by boat? The Egg Harbor Marina is a short walk from the condo. Bringing one? Launch, rent a slip, and park at the marina. (No boat docking or trailer parking at the condo; overnight trailer parking is available nearby.)

Located in the central portion of the county, just off Highway 42, with easy access to all of Door County's charming villages and attractions.
Access to Green Bay
Lambeau Field is about 75 minutes away. As the oldest NFL stadium still in use, it offers a game-day experience widely considered one of the most unique and memorable in professional sports—even for non-Packers fans. Post-game, you can travel back and relax at a local watering hole, on the waterfront deck.
