Specialty shops, galleries, restaurants, pubs, coffee shops, bakeries, breweries, a distillery, the local library, the village's performing arts center, and a vibrant local grocery market are all within walking distance.
The village hosts several events each year, including two parades, a fall festival, evening music, a farmers' market, and fireworks.
